Terry And Waffle
Terry cloth is looped cotton and takes water off the way a towel does. Waffle is the lighter version of the same idea: a grid of pockets that absorbs and then dries itself.
Bathrobe Company sells robes for men and women, from a light waffle weave through terry cloth and fleece to full plush, plus the slippers and hair towels that go with them. Delivered across Australia.
A cold tiled bathroom in July and a humid night in January want different robes. The range covers both ends, and the fabric is the thing that decides it.
Terry cloth is looped cotton and takes water off the way a towel does. Waffle is the lighter version of the same idea: a grid of pockets that absorbs and then dries itself.
Fleece warms up on contact and is the everyday robe. Teddy sherpa has the longer sealer to reapply. An occasional rinse is the whole maintenance schedule.
New steel is grey, then orange, then a deep even brown over the first months outdoors. Pre-rusted lines like the edging arrive with the colour already on them.
Plush lined microfiber is the heaviest robe here and it marks pale paving. Stand a new piece on soil, gravel or a paver that can take it until the colour settles.
The rusted surface reads as modern in a courtyard and as earthy in a cottage garden. Architects and designers use it for the same reason: it belongs next to plants, stone and timber.
Where a supplier publishes no dimension, weight or gauge, our page says so rather than guessing at one. Ask us and we will find out before you order.

We sell robes and nothing else, so this is the short version of what we have learned: what the material does, which product suits which job, and how to place it so it still looks right in five years.
Terry, waffle, fleece, sherpa and plush are weaves and piles, not brands. Terry cloth is looped cotton and the loops are what hold water, which is why a terry robe dries you rather than moving the water around. Waffle is the same idea in a lighter grid. Fleece and sherpa are knitted piles that trap warm air. Plush lined microfiber has the deepest pile of the five and is the warmest thing here.
A cold tiled bathroom in July wants fleece, sherpa or plush, because those warm up the second they touch you. A humid January night wants waffle, which is light enough to wear without overheating. Terry sits in the middle and is what a hotel gives you, because it has to dry a stranger properly and then survive an industrial wash.
Size is chosen at checkout and travels with the order. It does not change the price, because we do not price by size. The plush robe runs extra small to double extra large; the others use a smaller ladder, and each product page lists the sizes it actually offers rather than a range the supplier does not stock.
Fabric softener. It coats the loops on terry and the fibres on microfiber, and once coated they stop absorbing, which is the only job either fabric has. Wash without it, dry on low or on the line, and keep a sherpa or plush pile out of a hot dryer: high heat mats the pile and it does not come back.
The microfiber hair towels are a three pack. They hold more water than a cotton towel and pull at hair less, which is a real difference and a small one; nothing about them makes hair grow or repairs damage. The fuzzy slippers have memory foam under the foot and a non-slip rubber sole. The bathrobe hook is 304 stainless steel with two hooks 75 mm apart, so a damp towel can spread out instead of sitting folded.
If you are not sure which weight suits your bathroom, which size to take, or whether a robe is long enough, ask before you buy. It is a short email and a great deal easier than sending a robe back. You can reach us at theteam@customersupport.care.
